Watching away matches from your armchair this season

I understood that all matches are on iFollow if you’re viewing from overseas, so why wouldn’t a VPN let you view them?
Happy for someone to correct me if I’ve got that wrong.

 

City’s web site says if a VPN is detected then you’ll be cut off and no refund given

 

That’s pretty much a non starter . My Norton security runs via a VPN , so are we to ditch our online security settings Or am I missing something ?

Well without a VPN it’ll detect you as being in the UK so won’t be able to view.
A VPN obviously gets around the location but if they now have methods to detect it then sadly it’s game over for some.
Have to go retro and listen to radio commentary only

 

The BBC also has a van that comes round and can detect whether you're watching live TV without a licence.

 

Not sure how they’d cut you off unless they block login to the iFollow account as if they blocked the IP you’d simply disconnect and join from a different location.

 

And don’t forget the dye in the swimming pool that detects if you’re having a piss in it.

 

Must just be an English thing.

Remember seeing that thing once, white Morris Minor van, on Parkside Road before they sent such technology to Crossleys scrap yard.

 

It’s a bit strange, as a bone fide iFollow viewer outside of the UK, I haven’t had any renewal emails or even information about what is happening with iFollow. I did hear some rumours that it may not be operating due to the Sky Deal.

 

Can someone please tell me how and when I can watch the away games on ifollow or whatever system is up and running . We are one week away from the start of the season and nothing from BCFC or anyone with reference to this.
