I can't believe the new season is here already

For a start, it doesn't feel like we're ready and have concluded all of our business...

 

That back 3 is horrendously poor yet the top end looks very decent. It seems to be a very unbalanced and top heavy squad this year.

 

Anyone going/gone before by train? What's the best method to get to ground and also back to the station after the game?

 

I have friends who live in MK. They always joke that you need to drive everywhere. The station is right in the middle. The stadium is on the southern edge. The one good thing though is the bus station is very close to the train station and you can get a bus direct there.

Well it’s true,you’ve been moaning all summer over our defenders and I’m sure you’ll take great delight if we lose 3-0. Yet you’ve never seen them play and until we do how the hell do we know what they’re like. Let’s face it Platt wasn’t exactly Bobby Moore , Taylor was hopeless and Tomkinson and Oyegoke weren’t all that great.

I clearly won't be happy if we lose 3 0, that's why I'm moaning about the state of the transfer policy.

I’d love to see Pattison, Sarcevic, Walker and Pointon in the middle of the park, with Cook and Kavanagh up top. I wasn’t impressed by Baldwin against Sunderland and though he made poor decisions and gave the ball away, but we don’t have a fit replacement at the moment. At LWB and based on last week, I’d probably go with Richards.

 

Can't have them all inspector. If we play with wing backs and two up top it only leaves 3 places left for the middle.

 

Essentially 2 because one of the 3 is likely to be Smallwood.

 

You’d be surprised how offended people get when their name is persistently spelled wrong.
Anyway I’d like to see Cooke and Yung start up front on Saturday.

Looks like there's lot of road closures around MK on saturday for some music fest.

They've had an injury to Leko in pre-season reading their forum that they are waiting on, he would have started on sat. Sounds like they are still after a RWB, not found a CM pairing that looks comfy yet in pre-season either. They are linked to Elliott Embleton too at the minute it looks like, another Sunderland midfielder looking for gametime.

 

Might be a good time to play them then. Although I'm sure I thought that about Crawley last season and that worked out well.
