    Enjoying a cracking pre-match day out in Alty. What a fantastic town, full of independent shops, a market to die for and some great bars to choose from.

    I've settled for a couple of pre-match bars, namely the Jack In The Box bar in the market hall (Blackjack Brewery) and Costello's (Dunham Massey Brewery).

    Yes just turned it on , had to reconnect as it was stuttering but absolutely fine now.

    Weird team , with a few “regulars” on the bench.

    This is what I was hoping Kelly would improve this season. I was hoping in his second season he'd feel a bit more comfortable and relaxed in the first team and improve his passing but it seems not so far.

    Not much to get the pulse racing there.

    Looks like we will be passing the ball between the back three a lot this season, going by the pre-match drills.

    There was one spell of play, when after passing it around for a bit, Byrne was on his own with no one near him for at least fifteen yards. He just rolled the ball across to Kelly, rather than stepping forward with the ball and getting us on the attack. Definitely something to work on there.

    Got skinned badly late on in the first half.

    He has made a couple of decent runs I thought. The one that drew the foul in particular, although he probably should have released it just before the foul.

    I wish he'd just try and carry the ball forward and beat a defender but the only time he seems to like to run forward is when there's no one in front of him.

    He has a lot to prove in my eyes. Part of the team that went on a winning run at the end of the season but he personally contributed almost nothing.
