New Kits 2024/25

I'm hoping all claret with amber trim

 

I thought we did too. Can't remember which games other than Barrow but it felt like a fair few.

 

Stockport, Wimbledon, Notts, FGR, Colchester, Grimsby & Barrow we wore the home strip, 7 of the 23 away league games. The kit clash thing has fallen away under new contracts.

No idea if we have it with our deal, but I know from experience at work that Leeds have in their contract with Adidas and Kappa before those, that the kits need to be worn in at least 6 or 7 games per season and that's a fairly standard clause with kits suppliers but the games amount will vary.

 

Very true.

Guessing we have a similar "must wear each away kit X amount of times per season" clause too looking at last season otherwise it would have been more than 7. Tranmere and Gillingham directly coming to mind, no clash but we wore the away strip. Maybe some of the teams in red too? Swear we've had teams wear red at VP before whilst we've been in C&A.

 

Tbh I think the alternative keeper kit we’ve got this season is nice. Wouldn’t be displeased with something similar.

Still no second away kit one day before the new football season starts, not good from a marketing point of view.

 

It's being launched tomorrow. It was teased earlier this week. Thankfully a bit more low key than the ridiculous build up to the first away kit.

 

JCT 6000 are revealing the 3rd kit today. All points towards been black.

Good heavens. Thats the worst one in a long time.

 

Probably explains the low key announcement. A very marmite kit. Some will hate it, others love it and not much in-between.

 

I would imagine it will be worn tomorrow against MK.
No excuses for not been able to pick a team mate out against a team playing in White or my be I'm been to optimistic.
