Having a look, cant find much on Critchlow for wage other than a post a bit after he signed on the Posh forum that he was on £4k a week, so nothing really to cling on outside of one fans guess. Average L1 weekly wage is just over £5k from a PFA leak a few years back and Posh are known to pay a little less than market on average, as they sell themselves as the club you sign for to go higher, so I reckon that about checks out? So yeah, if we offer a loan and to cover 35%, I reckon that's ballpark £1.5k a week we offered?

I thought Critchlow was good but I cant see him in a GA defence. His main selling point was his ball playing which we don't really want ours to have. Our CBs last year mainly passed it to a wing back or went long. But from the ones in at the minute, it feels like GA wants size and physicality which again weren't Critchlows main features. Unless he wants to move Kelly inside? Baldwin has a bit of pace from the looks of his clips, so does Critchlow, and use those two to ping down either channel to a runner? He'd improve our current CB unit for sure, but has a feeling of Wright last winter in getting in a familiar face to appease the fans.

 

I see Darragh is saying in the same Podcast city have a good signing in Aiden Baldwin. Who would have thought

You do realise that if we have a terrible August and someone like Baldwin drops an absolute clanger, then many posters on here you have argued with (myself included) are going to go back to your silly comments and make a point of making you eat your words?

 

I don't listen much to MacAnthony, but I'm hoping Baldwin surprises a few this season. He seems to have been defined by a couple of horrendous howlers, but looks to do a lot of good stuff too.
