I had a look but it looks quite poor compared to FPL so I've given it a swerve.

It's simple and quick, but I'll still be doing the PL

Its not really quick because you have to select 6 new players and 2 clubs every week. Id find that tedious!

Then again I have FPL, Super 6 and other stuff to battle through on a Saturday morning.

It looks like some that you will have to pay attention to if you are going to do well. As Sergio says with it being a new teams and clubs each week if won't be one that you can leave and let it play out like you can with FPL, there's also only limited benefit if you find a good player early on unlike FPL where you get the benefit of early points and a cheaper player. Also with only being able to pick a club 5 times you only need to miss 2 or 3 weeks and you've nearly used up a team and if you've used them 5 times then you get given a random one. The people who do well in this will be the people who spend a lot of time making changes every week and take advantage of weeks when Championship teams have 2 games with League 1/2 having one and vice versa or in international breaks when a lot of teams don't play.

Yes I’m doing it but didn’t realise you had to pick a new team every week. I should read the FAQs!!

Yeh its a shame. If it was set up like FPL then great fun but sadly it needs alot of engagement. I dont have the patience and my time is limited so would lose interest after a fee weeks.

    Agreed.

If they'd have used the FPL format then I'd have definitely given it a go but this feels too time consuming and I imagine will take a lot of planning if I've read the rules correctly.

You don't have to select a new XI every week. Your team rolls over if you don't.

Although given the scoring within the game you need to be on it with fixtures, injuries and form. I quite like the format though.

TBF with international breaks, that format would make the Championship redundant as would need to avoid. So understand decision but doesnt help. Its a shame.
    Had so much potential.

Ever done the Champions League one? Ive tried but lose interest. Euros one was ok.....short lived though so probably why I saw it through.

Two weeks in and I’m actually really enjoying Fantasy EFL.

It’s easy and not time consuming at all. You don’t have to change your team every week, it just rolls over. But I changed a couple of players in the week and did quite well out of it this week (Poku for Peterborough scored 2).

Do we have a Bantam Talk league?
