He is a big earner so if possible needs to be moved on but those stats show that if he can replicate that he would be a good squad menber

Give it a rest. 31 goals in 93 games is meh. Face facts, he was a very poor signing. Even David Blunkett can see that.

I think we're just hoping he leaves and we don't have to bother discussing his talent and merits. His merits since joining us, that would be a short discussion

 

He is so highly rated we are fighting off other clubs for him to remain at City.
He is another player signed without fore thought of how he would fit into the way we wished to set up or having the players to set up to play to his strengths. He certainly appeared to struggle after coming back from his injury last season.

 

To clarify, you're agreeing that he scored 27 goals and not 31?

What Oliver might or might not have done before he joined us, is irrelevant in my opinion.
What he has done since he joined, is basically zero, i know he has had a large part of that time injured, like many we have signed, but when fit either here or out on loan, he has done nothing and been paid handsomely for it.
It might be his demeanour, but he has never looked interested to me.
The sooner he moves on the better for all.
I hope he proves me wrong and bang's in goals for fun for us, but i just don't see it.
