That's exactly how you play against that sort of team though, let them have the ball in front of you and then pick them off on the break (god knows we've suffered it enough in the past!). I haven't been able to find the stats but other than a couple of half chances in the first half I can't remember them having a sniff the rest of the game, certainly not missing loads of big chances

 

Maybe this will jog your memory , they certainly had more than their fair share of chances.

My god its got very catty on here.
It's a game of football. I am as crazy as most when it comes to city and long to see us win a league title again, 1985 , that sad day the last time and god knows when before 1928? If we don't go up in the auto's, then the play off's, if neither so be it.

I enjoy the banter on here and disagreements are part and parcel of that. Not sure why some people are getting upset about that? It would be a very boring forum if everyone agreed with each other 100% of the time.

 

Hopefully next season will be our time...which we have been hoping for the last 6 years, but I am not holding my breath given the players we have lost vs the players we have signed so far...

 

I think as we stand only Platt will be a miss, and he had his fare share of critics.
Everyone else that has left has been alright at best, even Oyegoke and Tomkinson.
If we can get a decent centre half in, even on loan, we will be ok.

Don't mind Arsenal, TBF growing up in London in the early '60s we were spoilt for choice, when we were away, the Spuds were at home and a mates father used to take us there.

 

We certainly were not spoil't for choice around here and there was no way i was going to the Doggies or bloody Leeds, like all my Bradford mates.

 

Bradley Dack in talks with Gillingham. Legs have gone and can't stay fit after all the surgeries he's had on both knees over the last couple of years. Might get a few decent runs out of him this season if managed properly.

 

Hopefully if we sign this trialist CB they've taken to Austria he is a good Platt replacement
