Am I the only one looking forward to seeing Baldwin play? Looking at his highlights vid and the farewell from what I imagine is the Notts version of WOAP, he could become a cult hero. It certainly won't be dull.....he wouldn't be first name on a Southgate team sheet. And he's got a goal or two in him

Honestly don't see it, and if being slow is a qualification then yikes...

He's too small and not dominant enough for that role imo.

 

Stubbs had one match in midfield through injuries the cup I think and was MOM

I think he had injuries early on last season and started poorly and didn’t win over Alexander. He lacks pace but makes up for it with positioning. He certainly won’t let us down if he gets the shirt

 

One FL goal in his career doesn't really suggest we should be holding our breath for any goals. I'm just going he's not a complete disaster as this signing has Taylor vibes written all over it.

 

Wait until you've seen the others. You'll be wishing we had 3 Sam Stubbs!

I've read it. It's just dressing up his horrendous mistakes as fun, like it doesn't matter that you've lost again because it was a giggle watching him.

It's a bit like everybody's opinion of the bumbling, loveable oaf Boris Johnson. It was all a great laugh at first until there's been so many gaffes that you start realising that actually, it's kinda stopped being fun now.

Do we need these commercial announcements? Did we really need a news piece on Pukka Pies signing on for 3 years? Every ground has a pie deal, do we really need to dedicate announcements for everyone?

 

Just seen Donny won 4-0 last night. Gibson x2, Sharp x1. Shite opposition but that's what you want to see from pre-season. New signings making an impact and comfortably winning.
