MK have replaced Max Dean with Callum Hendry from Salford. Good record in terms of goals per minutes, but doesn't seem to stay fit.

A very Derek Adams set of signings with plenty of ex players although a few of them are players they would have renewed contracts for earlier in the summer if they were allowed. A big season for him where he's going to have to work his magic and get them punching above their weight again, if he can't do that then I think his career could end very quickly.


Adam Lewis is also on that list so that ends that rumour.

 

He's not over rated, we just haven't got anyone better at the club at present.

People keep saying that but what’s it based on? He’s only ever played LWB for us and was clearly signed to play in that position.
Remember the announcement when he signed when he was clearly described as a WB?

 

He was signed by Hughes to play LWB but the 2 clubs previous saw him as a CB and used as him as a CB.

Has Richards done a good job at LWB? No.

 

Apparently he met with Gent and Sparks at the Ibis Budget on Canal Road last night and was all set to be announced today but then did a u turn when he heard Morecambe were interested.

 

Platt and Crichlow - 2 ok CBs would really lift my spirits right now. Above and beyond any of the current crop.

 

Shudda ordered him a dominoes.

 

Has Richards really been that bad when he's played? I don't get the big downer on him. Can we get better? Sure. But he gets forward and is prepared to take his man on. I think he's been ok

 

Who said he has been bad? I asked if he has been any good. The answer is no.

If you want players like him at LWB, a position that isnt his natural and one he has struggled in then get ready for season 7 in L2.

Im not against him as a CB because ive not seen him and I dont rate Kelly.

 

He’s the only player we have that seems to bully the opposition , unlike what happens everywhere else on the pitch .

 

Richards is our back up LWB though isn’t he?
At risk of repeating myself, whether we like it or not Wright is going to be our first choice in that position and this discussion started by me saying that I don’t see why we need another one unless Richards is leaving especially seeing as GA wants a smaller squad this year. You don’t need three LWBs and we’ve never played Richards anywhere else.
