What success did Rahic bring after sacking McCall when we were still in a play off place because he couldn't wait to show us who was boss, that turned out well.

Im just stating facts - we nearly reached the Championship under his watch. We got relegated when he left. He certainly did not accept medicority.....

He wasnt the only problem at this club and he was made a bit of a scapegoat IMO. We are even shitter now he has gone.

 

I personally think owning the stadium would strengthen his hand, when it comes to selling the club and if i had his wealth, i would have tried to buy the club back years ago.
That £8 or 9000 a week, could go a long way towards player recruitment and possible climbing the divisions, again helping with a possible sale. Only Mr Rupp and his accountant's know his financial position, who knows, it might be that up o now, he has not been able to realise those assets to be in a position to invest further,

 

Are you for real Edin was not the only problem at the club, have a word with those who worked for him at the time, even Spark says they were very testing times and that's an understatement, I'm gobsmacked with that reply unbelievable.
You forget his mismanagement with regards new managers Grayson wouldn't have nothing to do with the club when offered a contract, he then tells us we've had some quality applications for the managers job at Valley Parade dragging on for weeks (whilst conning Rupp) and us fans then finishing up with Trueman & Sellars, and Edin wasn't the problem, another one we'll not agree on.

what is the budget? Only the club know and they would be bloody stupid to advertise we have lots of money left , with greedy agents and players.

Nobody has told him to put any amount of money in, it’s up to him what he wants to spend. I think you and a few others are missing the point. He stated that the current strategy of sustainability was failing and he would be investing to get this club back to where it belongs. Coincidentally this statement was the same week as a planned protest, and in the middle of selling season tickets which was going appallingly by all accounts. He could have said something like he isn’t willing to put his personal wealth into a football club as you are suggesting he doesn’t need to do, but that honesty wouldn’t have sold many season tickets would it? As I’ve said enough times I didn’t read too much into the investment comment myself and took it to mean things more off field, but I fully back those who feel aggrieved and bought off the back of that statement. According to GA we have 2/3 more loans coming in and that’s it, between them and the 4 we’ve brought in I see no added investment.

He owned the club Andy , as long as Julian Rhodes was anything to do with the club that would never happen and although he was not directly involved in the day to day running we know he offered his services to the new owners and of course once the con man got sussed Julian was asked to take the helm again until a replacement could be found, Ryan gets some stick (uncalled for at times IMO) but at least he got Gordon Gibb back on side speaking to the club and eventually sponsoring us.
I'm sure they will come to some agreement with regards buying Valley Parade and although it will be owned by a different company in Rupp's name, the club will repay the loan over many years hopefully Rupp will rent it back to us at a more favourable rent, that in itself would allow us to invest more in the player budget which will then cover his so called investment.

 

I am not suggesting anything, over than try walking a mile in someone else's shoes,
We do not own the club and have no idea of what is being invested where ,if at all.
What i am saying is things are not as poor as some are trying to make out

 

Rhodes should never have lost ownership in the first place.
One of the poorer custodians , among a group of generally poor owners for far too long.
