2024 Released Players & City transfer rumours

Would be nice to get an update from the club about our business now even if it’s just a couple of lines in the paper.
Feels like the market is hotting up a bit.

 

Haven’t we also signed a bit part defender from Stockport?



The endorsements from the Stockport fans are excellent. I’m not gutted we haven’t signed him but he’s the type of player who gets you promoted.

 

The power of social media to make an average player into a marquee signing. I'd never heard of Croasdale until he was mentioned on here, or Aden Byrne, Callum Johnson etc.

Sarcevic is a different gravy though.

 

Bit strange what Stockport are doing really. Seems they are letting all the players that served them so well go. I get for league one the quality goes up an other level but you’d think they’d keep a core of the lads that got them up, even as squad players.

 

Well liked but I'd rather have a strong centre back in to replace Platt.

 

My auntie lived in Spalding and Posh was their nearest football club back in the days of Derek Dougan and the FA Cup win against the might Arsenal.

 

It's a fair old clearout.

 

My godparents also lived near Spalding.

Went past Apperley Bridge today and wondered why the training pitch had just been freshly marked out. This explains why then.

 

No, optimism of player quality on here, good or bad. He’d not be a starter anyway , so no idea why the fuss that he’s signed for anyone else.

 

Why, what appearances did he make 22-23, 23-24 ?

I doubt we were anywhere near looking at him tbh.
