Monkey, I also continue to be equally befuddled. Let's just look at some reality. Every other L2 club would want Andy Cook. He has the best goals per game record of any City striker since Bobby Campbell, plus multiple assists in all of his time with us. Scores with both feet, with his head, scramble-ins from close-ups because he's in the right place at the right times, big banging shots from further out. Thank God for Andy Cook say I.

 

Durn it General! We've been here before. How can Cook be said not to get others into play when he's been our leading assists player for the last two seasons? To me, that says he's not only getting other players in but helping them score. Result!

 

He also does a good job defending corners and free kicks but there are still some who claim he doesn't do anything other than score the odd goal (and some even moan he doesn't do enough of that either).

 

This I hope, is the last we see of Sparks picking players without the agreement of the manager. Was it through desperation to appease the fans? Was Wright also brought in without the full approval of Alexander?

@wetherbywhaler absolutely slated me for it and suggested he was destined for higher levels.
