I was told, by a very reliable source who also told me on Wednesday that Halliday had agreed a new contract, that Sparks had agreed a loan with Wigan for Wyke in January and GA overruled him.

What do you know about Wyke that we all don’t ? He was scoring in league 1 last season so what’s happened to him to make a good league 1 player not good enough for league 2 ?

 

Depends why he over ruled it at the time eh? Could have been happy with what he had, preffered to take a gamble on Kavanagh or maybe told if we signed Wyke, there was no money left to loan Wright?

I cannot imagine GA refusing the chance to sign Charlie Boy on a permanent deal if the chance presented itself.

Personally, I think he will end up somewhere else paying better wages and signing on fee.
