Yeh, looks like Halliday has signed a new contract.

 

Hopefully Charlie Wyke across the line, giving Cook a rest when he needs it instead of flogging him to death.

You can use statistics to prove anything watching how a player performs is down to ooinion you have yours I have mine and judging by his comments Alexander agrees with mine and that’s what counts

 

If we can get a RWB as good, I’d be happy.

 

That we will never know but Park will be correct. Our most consistent player and in the EFL team of the season , it’s not too difficult to grasp others will be interested.

 

I’m not trying to suggest that Park was incorrect, just curious to know if anyone had actually been linked.

 

Read some reports on Preston which i thought might be far fetched but like you say, plenty will have enquired about him

 

Preston and Blackburn according to some kid on Twitter with 57 followers.

Reality is, if he was free then yeh, lots after him but I very much doubt anyone was coming in with a bid worth entertaining given he had a year left. Halliday was good last season, but he wasnt pulling up trees either. Best of a very average bunch, but an asset all the same.

I am glad he has signed up though, more (and hopefully better) to come.

Sort of player who can move up and do a decent job in league one if we do by some miracle get promoted. No brainer getting him signed back up.

 

Think we have a bigger fish to fry than signing a player down we had under contract. LWB , midfielder and striker.

It’s a PR move ahead of the fans forum you can read this club like a book.

Our business so far suggests to me we will be pushing for one of the last play offs places again. At best. But still time....
