Account that started the Croasdale at 5pm rumour has 4 posts to his name and has recently renamed their account. Was a piss take ITK account last summer and he thinks he deleted all his tweets from last summer but he hasn't yet....

Also, his display picture is taken from a consultancy firm.

Would it blow your mind to know that there's proven and experienced EFL footballers available that would improve our first 11 and aren't called Phil Foden?

I mean, it's a stretch but I bet we could find some if the budget was available and we tried hard enough.

 

A main player for the team that won the league last season and yet you moan. That’s city fans all over

 

Croasdale would be a fantastic signing.

 

27 starts in a 46 game league campaign for a player who was then not offered new terms doesn't exactly scream "main player" to me.

It screams of an adequate squad man that filled a gap whenever Stockport had injuries.

I've no doubt he'll improve our rotation options but yet again it's another space filled and again it doesn't appear that we've strengthened either the first 11 or a particularly weak area.

 

On what basis?

 

When you say improve the starting 11, it's only really CB and LB where we could do that and I'm still hoping we will. You're not getting another top class midfielder with smallwood and sarcevic already there, their wages will definitely be taking a chunk of the budget

 

We finished outside the play offs in the bottom division. There's not a single player in the entire squad that we couldn't improve on if the recruitment was right.

 

With a massive budget yes. Realistically speaking the likes of walker. halliday cook even smallwood can't be improved
