I heard weeks ago that Chesterfield wanted Wyke.

 

Yep, I thought that yesterday too.

 

A lot will want him ...10 -25 goals there .... guess what we need ???

 

Well according to some we dont need him. Happy to put faith in running Cook into the ground again and having no option when he is out or not scoring.

Another issue is Cook and Wyke having the mental ability of 8 year olds and running into each other.

 

A goal scoring left wing back, who's also comfortable in a flat back four and has the ability to also play sweeper keeper?

Beat me to it @Campbell's soup, I'd certainly be asking my consultants permission then again it could be Leeds United which is worse.

 

What baffles me is that plenty on here hand out criticism on masse to Cook whenever he has a bad game and like to tell us how he's putting on weight if he's not scored for a few. We've even got people wanting us to move him on as he's "not mobile enough", "doesn't bring others into play" (despite being top assister for the last two seasons) and best of all, the very humorous "doesn't do anything but score".

Yet, when there's a ready made striker possibly available, one who's performed at a much higher level and also has a track record at ours ..... People say we're well stocked having Cook there and don't need him.

Weird.

 

If he hasn't got "presence" I'm not interested.
