I think Wright and Oyegoke are already better than that bunch to be fair. Poleon and Mccartan weren't exactly youngsters. I'll always love knotty though of course

 

Agreed but given we don't use wingers then I'm surprised you agree that he'd be a decent addition as we certainly don't need another striker of his type.

 

Agreed but someone of 31 also isn't going to get better.

It's clearly about choosing the correct young players to complement a squad but clearly it's not that easy.

I have to agree with Park on Wright. I think the team looked a lot more balanced with him at LWB and he did nowhere near as bad as some made out. Yes, he played his best football for us on the wing but tbh he was poor on his return at wing and improved when going to LWB. Unless we can get a real standout LWB like Nicky Cadden, who tbh is the only player I can think of who is stand out in that role as it is very specialised, then I would be happy with Wright.

 

Recovering well thankyou. I had a stroke, fortunately my good lady insisting on phoning an ambulance and they arrived in just over 5 mins. Spent 2 nights in the BRI but on the mend now.

I fully expect the video to show Tyriek Wright dressed in full 70's disco gear, and then transitions to him in the new "retro" away shirt. I don't think a player new to the club would have the balls to do something as cheesy as that

At that age they have the potential to get better, with the right manager/coach. For young players to even get to professional level they have to work very hard but also have a good level of ability/skill. However you are correct in that some young players do not go on to fulfil that potential, and we have had a few of those. At this level sometimes you have to take a chance on players because the finished article can be expensive.
