Thought Reading were broke? If so they won't be able to afford Young. They can have Oliver though if they wish

Bizare move. You would think a bigger clubs would be the front runners.

Like Young Kemp has still got to prove himself did brilliantly at Swindon after being let go by MK and was poor again on his return.

Don’t forget he was released as not good enough by a second division club

I dont think its a case of not good enough. More of a case of he wasnt happy there and didnt settle - he didnt want to even discuss a new deal so thats why he was let go. He has done well at Hartlepool and Swindon now so clearly good enough for L2 and L1 side has taken a punt.

I always ask myself why he was so poor at MKD , even under three different managers? They even played his type of football , breaking at pace . Weird to say the least .

I am not saying either Kemp or Young won’t have great careers ahead of them. Just that they have still need to produce consistent performance to justify some of the hype surrounding them

We've had plenty of players like that. Done it at other clubs yet no matter what we do with them they can't produce it here. Glad it's not just us! Frustrating one for MK fans

Fair play to the lad, earned himself a gig in league one from the good spell at Swindon. No doubt Jake Young would have similar interest had he not been contracted to us.

Before Hartlepool he was offered to City to loan, apparently too lightweight.

yep, his agent approached City and they declined. City were recommended to him as well.
