I know. It was outrageous! I sit pretty near to where the incident happened and I could see clearly that the Donny player led with his elbow. TBF the ref was behind the Donny player so might not have seen it clearly but the Lino should have had an excellent view and should have alerted the ref to what actually happened.

Spot on. Stubbs is class at L2 level. His only weakness is lack of pace, but played in the centre of three with quicker players either side he’s easily our best option. He’s a natural talker and leader and if it were down to me I’d make him team captain.

He is definitely leadership material. I spoke with him at quite some length at last year's POTY awards as he sat on our table. He is articulate and thoughtful, especially as he is still relatively young. He has been our most skilled central defender since he arrived, by a long way in my view.

The eye socket is an integral part of the skull so the statement is accurate which every way you read it.

Absolutely, medically the different areas have different nomenclature .

    To be precise

A linear skull fracture is a break in a cranial bone resembling a thin line, without splintering, depression, or distortion of bone. A depressed skull fracture is a break in a cranial bone (or "crushed" portion of skull) with depression of the bone in toward the brain.

SiL is a paramedic and I asked , as one does, and a fractured eye socket is medically different to a fractured skull.

    Glad I’m not a doc!

Yeah, I remember somebody not rating Halliday and saying Hendrie was the better player.

    The mind boggles ;)

I find that very hard to believe

...........no need to try and find my posts.
In my defence the first few months Halliday was distinctly average. I will admit he has improved. I would also say Hendrie never let us down.

Interesting when I went down to training on Monday Stubb was working so hard, I get it was the first day back in training but he was certainly making a statement to others.
