Jordan Gibson

I was quite critical of Young. He kept running down blind alleys and sometimes coughed up possession in dodgy areas which, given Hughes’ risk averse approach, was never going to go down well, regardless of what went on behind the scenes.
But Hughes mostly played him wide on the left, rather than centrally. Perhaps that didn’t suit Young’s game and maybe led to some of the tension between them?

Agree. A manager is never blameless when a player doesn't work out. For instance Pep has to answer how come Kalvin Phillips can run a game away in Italy - but can't perform for him. However, I firmly believe how good a player performs is 70% down to them and their attituded

Apparently there's a video clip going round of Gibson fighting with a bouncer.

 

Did he threaten the bouncer he would go get his dad

 

Thought Gibson was a skillful player when he was with us and we could have brought him on but if I remember rightly his dad got to involved. Possibly why he was let go.

 

Gibson and McKirdy, who remind me of each other, are like peas in a pod. Wind themselves up, as well as opposing fans.

 

Him and his dad have signed for Doncaster.

Not sure why our fans obsess over him, he's been gone years. That said, his post does seem quite strange.

 

I think it’s just down to the ongoing social media thing between his dad and our fans. I couldn’t give 2 hoots about the lad personally, he was just someone who came and went again
