Sorry but, seats and decent pitch are basics. Crying out loud it’s an entertainment venue. Would Alhambra let there be holes on the stage and seats falling apart. That’s bloody pride and pre requisite not something I am going to laud Rupp for sorry.

Sharpe, granted it’s a needed addition but footballs moved on and most clubs have these figures. It’s the fact we are so badly neglected and so far behind the modern game!!

 

I'm not lauding Rupp, I was pointing out extra pay on other things than the playing budget.I'm sure we have better players lined up, I hope.

 

Just as Stockport were finding their feet when they came up from the national league, so will Notts County. Their biggest issue was leaking goals, scoring wasn't a problem. They've gone some way to fixing that, so I'd expect them to be up there next season.

Just stating facts my friend, I don't think we have anything to fear with regards what Notts County might achieve next season, I also expect Bradford City to be up there next season.

 

Or re-enforcing what most of us already know knew and waiting for it to repeat it again.

Factor in be probably knows he will start more games for them as opposed to being a squad player, interesting he feels he can play it out from the back as I recall a number of times he was caught out and robbed and would say that is the weakest part of his game

Not that bothered either way a fair few players in that swuad i would have been more gutted to see leave.
Offered more money etc btw folk pulling the club up on that about lack of ambition you do we just signed a player on a better deal that a league one club couldnt match ?????

May not actually be about ambition it may be about that we aint gonna offer daft wages to an average league two centre back

 

Could be to do with locality, if moving to the league 1 club would mean upping sticks maybe he didn't want to do that. Also, he might see his chances of getting game time as greater with us, so it isn't just about wages, there can be other factors at play as well.

 

I wonder why Platt sees himself as a passer and progressive player when clearly only completes 1 in 2 passes, think he might have concussion from his headers into the upper main stand

 

If Platt was so good why didn’t a league one club sign him?

 

Its less than 1 in 4 -its 25% of short/medium passes. We need better. And its 40% of offensive headers won eg corners/free kicks. Again we need better. We need goals from our CH's next season. How many did we get last season? Struggling to recall any.

 

I could be wrong but I don't think that's right. The stats shown are percentile rankings and are not as literal as you suggest. The short passing ranking actually means that he's equal, or better than 25% of the other league two centre halves at that metric.

Given that we didn't pass short though I'd say it's not really a worthwhile metric to consider.
