Here is the thread for Game Week #463

This is the first GameWeek of the new structure.

Gone are the regionalised leagues for Europe, Asia and America (Plus the 2nd Division) to be replaced with

Champion (Cards from Premier League, Bundesliga, LALIGA EA SPORTS, French League 1, Serie A)
Challenger (Cards from Eredivisie, Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, Primeira Liga, Football League Championship, Süper Lig, Jupiler Pro League, Superliga, Major League Soccer)
Contender (Cards from Liga MX, Russian Premier League, Superliga Argentina de Fútbol, Austrian Bundesliga, Premiership, SuperSport HNL, Super League, J1 League, Eliteserien, French League 2, LALIGA HYPERMOTION, Serie B, 2. Bundesliga, K League 1, Primera División de Chile, Liga Pro, Primera División del Perú, Chinese Super League, Primera A)
Premier League

This are also split into 2 different types, In Season and Classic. In Season you can only use current season cards (Well you can use 1 Current Season card) while Classic you can use cards from Any Season.

There are som legacy events continuing until August such as All Star, Cap220, Cap 240 and Cap 270 although some of these can only be played if you have previously entered them

We are also seeing the introduction of Divisions. Rather than playing against every single person entering the competitions we are now playing just those in the same division as ourselves, this should see everyone compete against people of a similar level and as each division carries rewards it should make it easier to win rewards.

Anyway I will post the usual starting percentages and likely score for you players on this thread tomorrow evening

Here is the data for you for this upcoming gameweek. When did you pickup Veltman?

Your selection is a difficult one with the new tournaments as you have two players who can play in both In-Season and Classic Champion (And also Premier League), 1 Player who can play in Classic Challenger and 2 who can play Classic Contender (but one is your young keeper who is out injured)

Annoyingly with Common Cards being removed, you can't even play Cap 220 with a Common keeper so you are probably going to just have to enter either one of the capped modes (Or All Star if its open to you) with the keeper you know won't play

So a Lineup of

Hoftmann - Veltman - O'Brien* - McBurnie - Bjarnason

*O'Brien plays twice this GW. Whichever one scores the highest you get that score

You have options in some of the positions but unfortunately with New England not playing your midfield options are poor as your only Midfielder won't start but hopefully will get minutes from the bench. It also means you can only submit one lineup as you only have 1 defender and 1 midfielder to choose from

You will be looking to enter Challenger Classic and your best Linup is

Guzan - Glad - Wanyama - Arriola - Herbers

I would make Arriola the Captain based on the Predicted Score of 61


To enter things are now a little different to how I previously instructed you. You get to the page to submit teams the same way as I instructed you before (By clicking the Pro image on the landing page (or by clicking Play on the sidebar first if you are on another page. And then clicking the upcoming week date on the calendar) but from there it will be different

Challenger might show up in Your Competitions as shown below



In which case just click on the Pencil Icon under the Classic Team A and start selecting your team

However, it might be under Select your competitions. In which case find the Challenger Image and click that and you will see the following page



Click on Classic Season and Click the first Add a Team under the Limited column and then you can select your Lineup

You know how you said it must take me a while to sort out my lineups and I confirmed it takes a few hours. Well let's just say these new changes do not make things any easier for people with lots of cards. I started composing my teams before 10am today and only just hot them all finalised and submitted

You do better on Auctions than I do. Any card I bid on I always seem to come up against the trading bots or the big trading accounts and it quickly ends up being cheaper to buy on the secondary market
