Despite your very kind invitation I'm afraid I won't be there on Tuesday to me your good self, @Tennesseebantam & @Offcomedun (plus others).

The whole experience, including pre-match drinks when in the RNC has become a chore. I think for the remaining home matches (daytime at least) I'll be finding something else to do and maybe finishing off with a little drinky at the Ling Bob.

 

Go back a couple of years when my parents were still alive, i always walked from the B & M building to VP as my dad would always drop us off and pick us up there after. It's only the last year or two I've had to experience walking from the city centre as I have to get the bus due to not leaving my van around the streets of BD8. It's a pretty grim experience in all honesty, Valley Parade would be the last place you would stick a stadium these days as Manningham Lane becomes the land that time forgot.

 

I work over the road from VP and don't finish until 7 so I'll be going. Hoping we can get a few early goals against their dodgy defence.

 

I think the Rose & Crown is now the only watering hole left in that particular vicinity. Quite lively before & after the match, and good prices too. Never had a bit of bother in there, people generally in good spirits regardless of the matchday result

Good news is that despite the state of the pitch it will indeed be able to cope with 3 matches in 8 days which many said it couldn’t. Bad news is that having lost the first 2 we will probably make it 3 in a row tomorrow night. Although I’ve forecast a dull 1-1 draw in predictions league.

 

Same prediction here, unfortunately I later realised we are without Kav and more importantly JT, not confident at all but we will see!

 

If Oyegoke is one of our back three I might try and make a last minute alteration to my prediction.

Post match on Saturday Graham Alexander said to Jamie Raynor " If 4 people turn up on Tuesday,we have to prove ourselves to those 4 people".
So he realises that the home support will be minimal.
