I didn't renew this season, the last game I attended was the play-off semi final, I had a bad feeling about this season and I was also in the middle of a house move. It's done wonders for my mental health on a weekend, I still keep an eye on the score but if we lose it barely bothers me.

I've said it before but a lot of people are in an abusive relationship with this club, if people threaten to leave then the club will suggest that budget cuts will be required as a result of low ticket sales, in other words 'if you leave me I'll kill myself'. This club deserves 4,000 fans, not 18,000.

 

While folk.keep renewing then these twats aint going knowhere ........ . Your choice i suppose but please dont moan when this shit continues to go on.

Not a single one of our fans want to be in league 2 but nor do they want to be pissing around in non league which is where we’d go or even worse out of existence if enough fans stop attending which meant we fell into debt.
Anyone deluded enough to think Rupp would bail us out with his own money are exactly that…
Another massive decision for the club and any potential new owner is the dilemma of the upcoming VP lease. As a league 2 club we simply can’t afford to be here, we’re just about managing with 15000 season ticket holders. Imagine if that drops to 10000 then lower each season until 2028, it would be financial suicide to renew the lease.

 

If not enough renew and Rupp refuses to make up the difference won’t we just end up in non league and go bust?

 

Maybe for the best.
