And there's people like me who, despite using their phone for pretty much everything, still like to have a back up (Plan B) option, should the technology fail.

Same, we buy a lot of train tickets on The Trainline and always print off the tickets as well as saving them to the phone wallet.

I hate the modern tech and just love to have a ticket in my hand, it some how seems more dependable than this electronic garbage.
Mate does call me Fred Flintstone though.

I love all the electronic innovations that are happening. If you don’t like relying on your phone you can always print it off.

Modern technology is fantastic for many things but there are some things it can't better for me. Tickets is one of them, books are another. I've tried to get on with a kindle but I just can't because nothing beats reading a physical copy of a book, especially the smell of a new one, that's one of life's great pleasures right there.

I suppose ,as someone that is still very hands on in my employment, i hate to think of people losing their livelihood to a bloody machine, just for corporate greed, Yes some tech brings huge benefits, just not all this self automated check out rubbish and shopping on line. Each to their own though.

Not being as smart as my smartphone ( I held up a queue once faffing with my phone to the point where I was waved through by the turnstile operator!) I bought a plastic ticket 2 years ago for the sum of £5 having been told it would be good for 5 years. I'm just not confident with tech, I did try to print off a back up qr ST code but printer said no. I really do hope that the option of a physical ticket will be available to techy dinosaurs like me. I hope this posts OK!

So currently 60.2% renewing, 23.0% not renewing and rest not relevant. Basically, that's pushing 28% of relevant responders not renewing on a small poll that is not necessarily typical. It's not a good number, though. Allow for new ticket sales/returners and I'd guess we'll drop from just over 15k to maybe 12k or so? It will probably be roughly neutral for ticket revenue but see a fall in food/shop/sponsorship/commercial revenues (which I believe is the bigger of the two these days)?

Hopefully we can make L1 via the back-door, the % of not-renewing would soon drop, regardless whether Sparks and Rupp are here or not.

If you get a QR code, a 'belt and braces' tip, is screen shot it and then it is saved to your photo gallery on your phone. Easier than messing about with opening e.mails attachments etc.

Yup. I use a screenshot from the app, in case it crashes and I can't retrieve my season ticket. Although being the Official Bradford City app I can't imagine there would ever be any sort of problem.........
