Why is it shite? Most of the support are unhappy with our position both now and in recent years and would rather try do something about it as opposed to keeping up an unhealthy addiction to fulfilling away trips to the likes of Sutton and Gillingham year on year.

I think it’s fair to say that every city fan I know thinks the pitch is a disgrace and not fit for purpose yet if I speak out about it I’m somehow disloyal. Please explain.

But its not just the pitch that's my point, its most things with regards OUR club, Rupp, Sparks, managers, Head of Recruitment, fans not attending games ETC, if the club quote the crowd was 16,000 + even though anyone in attendance can see its not 16.000 the club include all season ticket holders in the attendance figure you fail to accept that fact.

A couple of posts back you told me to look what "Loyal" it says "giving or showing firm and constant support or allegiance to a person or institution, I read that as a fan who never sees any thing wrong with or at the club, I'd suggest that's more in line with a happy clapper wouldn't you ?.

Head of recruitment I’ll accept he’s a shit show and needs sacking. With regards the fans, yes as a whole we have a very fickle fanbase whom don’t need much of an excuse not to attend but I accept it’s their choice.

Probably as much for financial reasons as it is for the EFL wanting to keep the final week of the season clear knowing the issues we've had with our pitch. If we left it to the last week of the season and if, as expected both teams have nothing to play for the lots of Notts County fans get a refund on their tickets and you end up with one of the lowest league attendances we've had in years which will stay in the minds of people going into the summer at about the time season tickets will be going on sale.

 

I will have to miss this I think. Grandson's birthday. It's a school night so won't be able to take him. There will be a little do with cake etc which makes the timing awkward.

 

Watch the 2015 Sunderland FA cup tie on u tube, it was far worse then under Rhodes and Lawn.

Yes I did consider this one however I reckon it’s on a par, rather than worse than we have now? Maybe, maybe not

In any case we didn’t have a home match postponed that season because of it, unlike the 3 we’ve had this season. It’s like the drainage channels have finally given up

Not having a home match postponed is entirely down to luck with the weather on the day of the match. The Sunderland FA cup game would have been off had it rained all day like last Saturday.
