Well just my view of course but it was inexcusable. We loan players out and they Swindon have an obligation to protect this players physical and mental health.

 

He’s still contracted to BCAFC , his parent club at the end of the day.

The loaning club, contractually temporary or not are still owed a “ duty of care” to the employee .

 

What's the latest on Jake for some reason I can't find a pre game press conference with Alexander.

 

Probably out tomorrow. I am guessing he gave his presser today. Membership fans get it straight away, but those who don’t subscribe have to wait to the following day.

Shame the injury hoodoo continues amongst our players even Platty is out for a couple.
Very rare we get a clean bill of health these days and that playing surface of ours will claim others before the seasons out no matter how hard Mick and his team work on it.

 

Why has it taken this long for a diagnosis? We seem to be making a habit of slow diagnosis.

 

Bloody marvellous. I just wonder if it’s the same leg as the ankle ? Trying to “protect one” causes the other . Oh well. Get well soon!

Doesn't matter now Broncs and unlikely to matter at all. See today's T&A where it appears he won't play or at least unlikely to play again this season after hamstring op, just like Pattison.

 

How bloody frustrating. The times we hear of a player with a 'niggle', only to find we don't see them for several months.
It just seems beyond the law of averages.
And whilst I don't wish injury on any of our team, it always seems to be the more important players to the squad that we lose !

 

Agree, think Walker’s belated fracture, then Pattison’s operation months after sitting on the sidelines, now this ankle come hamstring injury.

 

The current NHS waiting list is 7m strong. Even private healthcare uses NHS equipment . If the general public got an appointment in the same length of time it would be a miracle.
For the record , I have been on a waiting list for a trapped nerve scan in my shoulder for…………





14 MONTHS !

I haven’t paid bonkers taxes etc since 1971 without a gap to have that sort of healthcare …pro sportspeople are lucky, compared to us plebs.

 

I can't grumble mate 20th March, although the original date 24th February but was canceled as my surgeon contracted measles, both done and dusted in less than 10 months with the NHS but procedures done at the Yorkshire Clinic.
