    I snapped my achilles (running for a tram in Manchester) on the way back from a home match in January 1993. I still travelled, by train, to the remaining home and away games that season. I think I had to use crutches for 2 to 3 months and it was 6 months before I was back to full fitness.

    Not really sure what to expect from this match. Assuming both sides stick with the same formation it will be a match up of 343 but MK play with a narrow front 3 which could cause us issues like Wrexham did in midfield. The forecast for tomorrow evening is not nice, if they want to play it out of the back I would really hope we press them high up the pitch as we should be able to force them either into making mistakes or to launch it long. Either way it should play into our hands.

    Hobbling around the ground is not good. I gave it a miss when l did my Achilles! No train option for me. I also think the damp and cold will not do it any good. Do the physio and get yourself right. All the best.

    Genuine person. They put an awful lot of thought and effort into composing the material. I am more than happy for their detailed analysis to be posted at the top of the thread. I just felt it needed to start, with the clock ticking, and only around 36 hours to kick off at that point. Expect the Sutton thread to start on Wednesday.

    Their passing and movement was pretty frightening, and we just knew we were in for a hiding early doors. Just surprised it wasn't more than 4 as we simply could not cope with them all evening. One of the most forgettable away days I have ever endured, right up there with Bristol Rovers, a couple of Nott Co games, and Leeds in the prem :confounded:
