i would imagine given its a Tuesday game The Voice hadn’t had chance to write the preview before Rod had posted in the other thread. Happens from time to time then the mods clean up and merge threads.

Dunno whats coming over me, actually contemplating going down tomorrow. usually its a cut and dried ‘no’ for midweek games these days!

That may be more down to the ‘half term escaping mad house’ factor than a ‘expectation of entertainment/result factor’, mind!

MK will be tough opposition but it's about taking our chances and building on three unexpected points at Wrexham.

Not a chance we are catching the pack. Even if we turned form, there's only really 7th place for grabs. We're 11 points off 6th placed MK and they have a game in hand. On the verge of being far too much to make up and maintain form with the other chasers inside 15 games, especially if we lose tomorrow and they win their game in hand.

A lot of teams are chasing that final play off spot.

 

It's a long shot to be sure but we only have to get to seventh place. It doesn't matter how far we are away from anyone above that. Then it becomes a clean slate and if we did get there we'd necessarily be in good form so we'd be in with a good shout.

 

Can we stop the mobility of Dean, Payne and Tomlinson??

Had a bit of a gander on an MK forum earlier and didn't realise we are their bogey side. We've beaten them in 7 of the last 9 league games. Although they destroyed us a few months back.

Their mobility up top was unreal from memory.

The pitch will almost certainly play a big part in proceedings but it's the same for both sides.
Heavy rain forecast during the day in some parts of Yorkshire so doubt it will be a game of quality.
A home win would be nice avoiding the usual media meltdown fingers crossed.
