And to think when things went against Hughes, some said Hughes was as bad or even worse. What a load of nonsense, Adams was the easiest sacking of a manager we’ve had, not just for on the pitch but off it. Next manager to go on a poor run, please be careful what you say by comparing them to this idiot. Hope he never comes back to England.

The delusion of this man is actually bordering on psychotic.

He genuinely believes his side had "better clearer chances" and "should have been ahead" yet the stats and the XG are absolutely light years in Dundee's favour.

His inability to ever admit anything is his fault is also quite alarming.

 

Watched the highlights and my brother was at the game. It was a poor game tbf but Dundee certainly were the better side and the stats showed that. He's a piece of work is Adams.

Adams has certainly had a lot of criticism in the Scottish Press. One former player said his comments amounted to a sackable offence..

 

Wouldn't surprise me if that's what he's after, might think he'll get another pay off

 

Hey, divided opinions at the time but the old boy may have hit the nail on the head...

“Bradford City has the biggest supporters base in the league. It’s one of the smallest clubs inside in the league.

“It’s got no structure, no idea of its way out, doesn’t own its stadium, doesn’t own its training ground and has no foundation to it.

“I, like many managers, think they can go there and change it.

 

Not the only manager to question the infrastructure of the club. Simply put we've been a rudderless ship for the last 6 years with the ships Cook at the wheel. What could possibly go wrong???

 

Hopefully a few more are realizing that while Del boy was a bit of a dour personality, he was absolutely right about the club and it's internal structure.

 

I see a lot of comments from all angles regarding no plan, no infrastructure etc. I get all that but really I think our problems are much simpler than that, at L2 level you just need a manager who knows his stuff and spends the budget correctly, if our budget is about £3.5m and we had 23 players instead of 35, then if we say our average wage is £1750 pw then the 12 unnecessary squad players total around £1.1m of the budget!! Imagine if this extra was spent upgrading the quality of just 23/24 players. It's a bit of a gamble for sure with a small squad but definitely a gamble worth taking as the quality of players we'd have would be vastly improved and possibly the higher standard players would be better at adapting to different positions as cover for any injury crisis. No structure or plans needed for this just a good manager who knows L2 and very good available players at this level and we'd walk out this league easily. Yes fully agree plans and infrastructure hugely required as you move up the football pyramid but down here it looks to me just common sense.
