Yes. He looks quite aggressive. Almost like a younger model of Walker, but more direct. In fairness, his Dad's a bit of 'roll your sleeves up character' and so I can imagine there is no way he'll coast through matches - as he will surely have been an influence.

And to be honest I think the league is worse than last year, which makes our performances even more damming. I'd say Stockport and Mansfield have stayed the same, i.e. just sensibly steadied the ship with minor improvements.

I mean I've seen Wimbledon twice now, Barrow and Accrington and they stunk the place out (as we did!!) - yet these are play-off contenders???!!!

 

I've seen very little to impress me this season, I've watched a fair bit of MK Dons under Williamson and they play some decent stuff but looks susceptible to poorer sides. Stockport have the firepower that will get them promoted but after that it's much of a muchness. Never impressed with Wrexham when I see them despite all the money they've spent, I wouldn't be surprised if we turn them over at their place.

 

I was surprised Wrexham did not strengthen their defence in Jan.They do look vulnerable at the back.They will probably keep a clean sheet now on Sat.

 

I thought he looked very lively and initial thoughts are I can see potential.

My eyes are going, however from a distance he reminded me a little of David McNiven in his movement, gait and posture.
Not quite as round chested.

If we were in the play offs I'd be happy if the manager wanted to set up negative but with nothing to play for league wise I think he should be a little less cautious and try and build some partnerships for players he wants to keep before the annual summer rebuild.

 

Good shout with comparison to Daisy McNiven in style and build. Not sure Daisy ever had a man bun though!

They average just over 3 goals per game at home this season, and still went out and brought in Jack Marriott. I think they are planning on winning games 3-1 more than 1-0.

Luke Bolton is a good RWB who they brought in, but yes I thought they needed a new central defender. They'll still go up automatically.

Seems like he's going to do a lot of the donkey work up top, which is needed with Cook. Something Smith doesn't really do, can't see him getting much gametime.

 

Agree, Smith has no bite. This lad has.
