Smallwood taking all the set pieces would suggest otherwise.

If he does revert to his tried and tested, how long before the “you don’t know what you’re doing” refrain makes an appearance?

Despite the doom and gloom looking forward to this on. It will be interesting to see how Young does on his return to VP and the possible debut of Kavanagh. Hope he sticks with EFL cup team in the main

Wimbledon have taken a punt and have signed a youngish high scoring striker from the NL, Josh Kelly. Presuming to replace Al-Hamadi, and repeat outcomes. Sure we will find out if he's any good on Saturday.

The thought of Ridehalgh and Taylor in the stands actually made me think about going to the game tomorrow. I have zero idea why those two still get games. Ridehalgh kind of, because Richards is only just back in the side, but two people in the summer who should never have been offered contracts.

Wimbledon have JK Gordon who gave Halliday and Platt all kinds of trouble in the play offs for Carlisle last season. The club have made over £3m in player sales in just over a year, but don't seem to be going crazy with it. Signed some young promising NL lads in the hopes to carry on the gem shining (you know, that thing Gent and Sparks said we were going to try and do). As well as some experienced lads like John-Joe O'Toole. Ronan Curtis was really well thought off at Pompey at one point and he's ended up there. Don't think he played for about a year though with a bad injury.

Id play Oduor at LWB over Ridehalgh. At least Oduor has some pace. Ridehalgh is just awful in every sense.

I mean, LWB was the entire reason we signed Odour, then he decided he couldn't be bothered playing defence and Hughes just went with it wasn't it? Think he played LWB against Bury in the friendly and that was it?

Must admit, Odour hasn't really impressed. You see the odd moment, but there's zero consistency. Not a fan of Keith Curle, but at Hartlepool he told him it's fine to do 25 step overs and run the line, but if you cant get a ball in or a shot off, what's the point? Think he's going to be one of them wingers that just float between L2 and NL for his career..... well, after we've had him for 3 years anyway.

Probably do an Eisa, move on to L2 and hit double figures.

Anyone else apart from me attending this game?

No expectations. Agree Smallwood needs some time away from starting and captain role, but can't see McDonald lasting much longer than 60 mins once a week, never mind twice. Would like to see Pointon and Kavanagh at some point.

If ridehalgh, Oduor or Smallwood are anywhere near the starting line up today, we’re losing this match
