Yes I prefer to give any player the club sign a chance before making a judgment on them.

 

Obviously it's early days to be comparing Walker to Lewis, if we had been judging the situation on last seasons performances IMO Harry would have been a hard act to follow, but on the first half of the present season Harry has been poor, as has Cook compared with last season, in the few games we've seen Walker I don't think he's been directly responsible for to any of the goals we've conceded.

 

I was quite amazed to read Lewis was 23rd out of 24 for shot stopping this season, We can not do much worse with Walker.

 

So why mention his “9 in 9” then?
If you think his League2 form was good, we’re on different plains

And yet Carlisle were willing to pay good money. Stats can mean anything.you want them to mean. Same with the signing of Kavanagh, can't tell if he's gonna be hit or miss.

 

I agree, crowds are a nuisance, cost too much to police and accommodate, make more money selling players...

Carlisle fans apparently think they paid about £200,000 to much for Lewis.
One thing is certain, his form this year is a shadow on last, same with Cook.
On there day, both good players, they just do not have enough days, hence lower league footballers.

 

Cookie seldom holds the ball up, that has never been his strength……ever.

How many has Lewis conceded recently……asking for a friend.?

 

Much prefer the painted murals we saw, much better behaved and no bloody flares to deal with.

 

Where did I say it was his strength or what he’s good at? But it’s indisputable that’s how his many managers have played him

 

Cook is a goalscorer I don’t think he enjoys the target man role he would benefit from a clever target man alongside him as did Hanson with Stead

That's a fair summary of what happens to mist lower league players, they have a purple patch of a season and we tend to base their entire career on it. Similar to Matt Stevens who was mentioned today, had one standout season in about 6 or 7 and everyone hangs on that one season. Got to be consistent to be a success.
