What was the attendance tonight?

Normally, they announce it but no! When clearly it was a low number then Sparks and the club didn’t want to say.

Insult to all fans that did go! Why be embarrassed?

 

Not even he can accept 4 points from 18 is good enough!

 

Too many fans are giving Alexander a free hit for my liking. He is by no means THE problem at this club but he's shown nothing to suggest he is the manager capable of moving us forwards.

His style of football, if you can call it that, is worse than I feared and it is a completely miserable 90 minute experience.

Tonight we played Tyreik Wright, Brad Halliday, and Liam Ridehalgh all out of position.

I'm not even sure what Clark Oduor's position was, I guess a free role, as he did actually pop up in useful positions a couple of times.

Gilliead hasn't had a position since he's been here, and that back 3 is atrocious.

 

And a Salford team that was 5th from bottom,granted doing better in the last few weeks under new manager but we should be winning those games.

 

The best we’ve played all season was away at Derby. Yes some might say Derby weren’t interested but I disagree.
How about GA starts with that team at Swindon with the exception of Doyle?

 

What is annoying me is the absolute bull s we are being fed. As PM said in commentary City fans are not stupid they know what they are looking at. We do and I personally have had enough. It came home to me watching the 98/99 team. Those players would have run through a brick wall for the fans and they made it happen. Yes we had a similar team with Parky but nothing like the 90’s team.

This team are nowhere near. They lack determination and guts to plough on.

Why does Smallwood take free kicks? Why can’t he see that he is absolute rubbish? Why can’t GA tell him to stop it? I never want to see him take a free kick again.

Rupp, Sparks Gent Managers are wasting our money on players who do not fit the Bradford City Profile. Rupp and Rahic have destroyed our club and atm it is difficult to see a way forward.

 

I’ve mentioned previously the Walsall,Harrogate Grimsby home games under Hughes as being the low points of this season and how people just couldn’t be bothered to celebrate last minute equalisers and just went home after the games without really remembering much about the 90 minutes they had just watched.
I don’t think we’ve quite reached those levels but I don’t think we are too far away.
Tonight had absolutely no redeeming factors and will be quickly put in the ever increasing category of “Bradford city home games to forget”

 

It makes you laugh that Sparks said

a) GA was the best man for job
B) said we’d undertaken the most thorough recruitment process since he was at club
C) we didnt purposefully look to recruit a manager to suit a squad set up to play 5-3-2 or 4-3-3 specifically,

its just a mess. They wanted cowley, got snubbed, weren’t convinced by anyone else but things changed after GA left MK Dons, so then the narrative changed and we’re told he was always our man.

but why? If the squad was recruited to play 5-3-2, why not use a coach that plays that way?

theyre clueless. Winging it on a day to day basis.

Took an 1 hour or so but I'm gonna take another sabbatical away from the club. I just don't enjoy it, find it a chore and wants to do things that enrich my life.

Can't see those attachments, Dave, but I fully understand the sentiment regardless.

If it wasn't for seeing family at football and taking others, I'd be the same in all honesty.

I rarely get involved emotionally in games anymore.
