Financial issues - which led to administration - saw the embargo first applied, with Derby's transfer dealings then restricted by the EFL after David Clowes took ownership in July 2022.

The League One club remains under financial monitoring restrictions.

Johnny Yen may indeed be right about Young's injury, it wouldn't be the first time it has happened during the transfer window. Then again his injury situation which allegedly started at Swindon may be genuine and we are maybe seeing something that isn't there. Time will tell.

There is no “alledgedly” it started at Swindon. I saw the tackle at Wimbledon the first week in Dec and Flynn admitted he was playing unfit , whilst injured , a week later . It’s all on video. He continued to play every single game thereafter for Swindon until he returned to VP. I know what I make of it, but that’s for others to decide .

Ah OK. I prophesied what might happen with Young and his bestest room mate now at MkD many weeks ago , I was wrong about Kemp, but not with Young , but hey nobody will ever know and it’s likely in a couple of weeks he will be found in “ Where are they now” . I hope I’m wrong but hey.
