Maybe. But he took us there in the first place. Doesn't make it right, but I'd take that ride again in a heart beat. Without him, We'd have had the last 10 years been the norm for the last 25.

 

At the time we went bust I was incredibly angry. It was only when I realised he was a gambler that it all began to fall into place. Of course we all enjoyed the ride. It started for me when he sacked Jewel. I couldn’t believe he sacked the manager who had been brilliant. Although he had always been trigger happy with managers. Then coming home on the plane and reading we had signed Benito rumours of £40k a week. I knew we were in trouble.

We had so many good times that came during those few years. The promotion team was the best team we had ever had. They were fantastic.

 

The Carlisle manager said tonight there are no signings imminent. So if Young is going there it’s not yet

Very true they were fantastic days and the club were in trouble before he came on the scene. However why did he have to go crazy ,exceptionally greedy and ruin everything after he’d been brilliant up to the day we stayed up.

Carlisle boss was specifically asked about Young and he said our asking price is way out of their league.

Well played by the club on this one, they’re playing it the correct way despite some pissing on Young’s character this has been handled the correct way.
