We sign a player on loan that didn’t want to stay and now doesn’t even fit in to the way we play.

Maybe, the idea is to use him as wing back but boy this has Sparks “I don’t know, what I am doing!” all over this transfer.

 

I dont see any of the summer signings going this soon into their contracts. Although if that wasn't the case, id happily add Taylor, Mcdonald and Odour to that list

Source who told me Wright had signed also told me That Oliver has/going to Stevenage, he was correct about Wright but, I guess Oliver will go but why would Stevenage want him

 

I see him replacing Smith more than any of our other players.

 

Another positive post Fordy, actually if we had matched Plymouths offer he might have stayed but Hughes said we did our best but couldn't manage to out bid Plymouth which sounds logical as they were doing very well at the time in League One and now I believe their in the Championship ?.

I said he was good last time. I will pass judgement on the signing this season once he’s played a few games. I’m not happy we’ve signed a player who doesn’t seem to fit into the current formation and probably hasn’t been scouted since he left. I’m not happy we’re signing players simply based on the “well they were good last time out and the fans seemed to like him” recruitment system.

 

Personally I’d rather we stayed clear from him full stop and not use the lad as ploy to change the narrative by the club.

Pressures on TW from day dot (unfairly) based on last year and also based on him been the antidote to fan unrest on the Lewis departure and young departure (when announced)

Forgetting he doesn’t actually fit into the system of late, not played much football (understatement) and had a really tough time at Plymouth by all accounts so imagine confidence is low.

It’s got flop written all over it, but it lessens the pressure valve for Sparks, Rupp and Gent.
