I can see why we signed him. Had good physical attributes. Just hasn't worked out for him either for fitness reasons or Cook being brilliant. Feels like he needs a fresh start. Good luck to him.

They've been after someone with the dreaded presence up front. We know how Evans plays... They were talking to Stockton according to a chap down the road whose lad is connected to the club. If Stockton didn't/doesn't work out then Oliver could be a cheaper alternative. They don't really need goals. They need another big lad to complement the rest.

 

Thats a logical move very much in the Steve Evans mould up and at em, probably score 10+ in league one good luck to the lad if it true, just didn't work out at Valley Parade.

 

We can only hope its the Wright that finished his loan spell at Valley Parade so well.

 

If the bits of information that are coming out of the club that they have received offers they are not prepared to take I would hope £200/£300 K are nowhere near what were looking for.
