That would mean that GA who has never in the 30+ years he's been come across as one, would be lying. Plus there is no way Young will be taking notice of any authority figures at this club.

It's more likely that the immature Young, thinks this ploy will mean we'll accept a cheap offer. So the contine to keep calm and if a suitable offer doesn't occur then on Feb 1st Young will make himself miraculously available. GA of course will only let him into the team if form warrants it.

Frankly, I'm bored with this saga. This is a player who's scored in just 6 of his last 19 matches and he's getting viewed as though we've got the equivalent of Haaland.

That said though Portsmouth have suddenly stopped scoring and paying over the odd pays for itself if it gets you into The Championship. So who knows maybe someone will put in a crazy offer.

Young will have been told by those controlling the transfer to say he’s injured and then he won’t be available for selection to GA.

GA may he telling truth - all he’s said so far is ‘nobody told me not to pick him’ and that ‘others have a say when it comes to transfers’ - or words to similar effect?

 

You think Sparks and whoever, is going behind GA's back and telling him to pretend he's injured?? So GA who is in charge of the team - doesn't really know which players are genuinely injured?
