Course its down to the club at the end of the day but does GA really want a player around the squad who doesnt want to be here ............ if he doesnt feature tommorow then you have ypur answer ......... his agent will no doubt have been in his ear at what clubs are now in from him

Surely the team going though a bad spell should be a very good reason for his selection, if fit of course.

 

Not sure if GA would do that. It wouldn’t be fair on the squad and especially if he thinks he has been swinging the lead. I think GA is a straight up and down type of man to me.

 

After losing the last two games and a fit goal scorer returning to our club then not playing him is IMO a little pig headed, be we needn't worry the lads injured, or so we're told.

I think what the forum generally said is that actions speak louder than words. There's balance to be had - he doesn't need to be Mr Soundbite every week, but there needs to be some sort of consistent engagement with the fan base. Who's bringing to life our plan as a club....? That'll be 'no one', because we haven't got one!!

 

Agree. He doesn't need to answer every question thrown at him but the infrequent newsletters don't cut it for me. Short videos, short interviews on different topics, etc etc... there's a lot they could do.

 

I think the shirt and short chats might get a bit boring quite quickly.

 

So the solution is balance, that’s fair, so what does the fan base want? How do you define
“ engagement” . We can’t have it both ways, what does the engagement cover?

 

So still with us, is he genuinely injured and could not pass a medical, or no one has reached our valuation, or is he not the hot property we all thought.

What if no acceptable bids come in…?
What happens if the injury is “ so bad” he fails a medical
What happens if a bid is accepted and the buying club can’t agree terms with him?

I’m not ready to blame the club yet, remember it’s HIM who has claimed he’s injured. Source GA.

If one of those scenarios happens he’s well and truly stuck here for two years on a low wage . Will he still be “ injured” on Feb 1st ?
