You know it doesn’t work that way players always get their own way. He has been dragged back kicking and screaming and seen interest in him from above. So he is playing silly beggars.

 

No suprise there, if a journ is saying we have financial problems which I personally don't believe some fans will have great delight quoting it, I'll get it if the buying club don't what the fee making public it's usually "undisclosed" at the moment our club needs all the backing it can get as question are being asked and the club not responding.

 

He hadn't been training with Swindon because of his injury, and was only playing because they had nobody else fit.

Take your word for it but the manager said pointedly last weekend that Young hadn’t been out all season

 

My take on the Jake Young situation is one of Asset management.
It was widely known he had picked up an injury shortly before he came back, but Swindon were short on numbers so he played although not 100% fit.
When he came back, we were in decent form albeit suffering a blip at Crewe.
GA has constantly said he won't play anyone who's not fully fit and he won't change player's who are performing well, which we were until the last 2 games.
Add in the interest for Young and there was absolutely no need to throw him straight in.
Just sit back and see what offers come in for him in the mean-time and if we get an offer that meets our valuation (which should be a minimum of £500,000 IMHO)
then we sell, if not he stays here.
It's a no-brainer and absolutely the right way to go.

In a nutshell nobody has a scooby doo……Undisclosed” which is quite normal.

Whatever it is it’s probably decent profit on a player who cost zilch and let’s face it is not as good as last season. Good luck to him.
