    Blackpool beat Burton 2-1 tonight and Bolton beat Accrington 3-1. The last team in the Northern section 1/4 final draw will be Doncaster or Wigan who play next week.
    Draw to take place on Friday at 6:30pm on Sky Sports News.

    Ball numbers should be:
    1) Blackpool
    2) Bolton Wanderers
    3) Bradford City
    4) Doncaster Rovers/Wigan Athletic

    All 5 teams left in are group winners so it looks like whoever we face will be strong in terms of this competition.

    Assuming Wigan beat Doncaster, it's going to be very tough when we're guaranteed to be up against top-half League One opposition

    Bolton - 2nd
    Blackpool - 8th
    Wigan - 10th (in terms of points, not including their points deduction)

    We really are an anomaly getting this far, being a bottom half League Two side

    Derby are 4th, we weakened our team, and beat them pretty easily.

    Let's not underestimate how poor high level opposition have been so far in this tournament.

    Barnsley were bloody awful and they're 6th.

    It's all going to hinge on how seriously these clubs and their players take the particular game on the particular day.

    It's a nonsense cup, and the results are equally nonsensical.

    I don't think we weakened our team to be honest. Pointon, Chapman, Stubbs and McDonald strengthened it in my view.
    Ok, we were missing Walker, Halliday and Cook (for most of the match) but overall we weren't weaker than the team put out v Crawley.

    The draw will be held live from 6.30pm on Sky Sports this Friday (January 12), in the lead-up to coverage of the Sky Bet Championship clash between Hull City and Norwich City.
    City are ball number Three.
