Exactly right. A keeper, bought to fit a possession based team that no longer fits our significant change in playing style. Just another symptom of the complete lack of direction this club has.

 

Wonder if we swap for Tomas Holy plus a fee? The massive keeper Carlisle had last season, he's like 6'9ft? But he could kick the ball from one box to the other.

 

I agree we have had no direction for a long time, but lets just see if GA can set a direction and give him time to build a team in his mould. He can't change/ set a direction based on someone else's players can he ?

Parky changed direction in terms of playing and that took him a full season to do so. Give GA this window to clear out and next window to build his own philosphy.

Just imagine, 3 seasons ago we all took the piss out of Carlisle being a team full of City rejects (Gibson, Patrick, Joe Riley, Callum Guy, Kelvin Mellor, Danny Devine, Jamie Devitt!!) and look at us now. Really shows how shite the people running the club have been at the expense of the fans

FWIW Vigoroux was linked with a move to Stoke a few weeks back.....

 

Surprised that Carlisle want Lewis because he was shocking against them in the second leg of the play offs. I suppose he did help them get promoted!

 

You could also say Lewis and Cook did help us into the playoffs but something off with Lewis this season.

Yep, can't remember anything he did well other than a kick boot and thinking he's massive.

Not saying he's a good option btw.
