They won't because they want the brass, I get the argument we might make him stay and he may not score at anything like the rate he did for Swindon, that applies for any striker the club bring in, many thought Arron McLean coming from Hull who were a Premiership team at the time I believe would find scoring goals in League One a doddle, I don't understand this he could be a sulky player or a bad apple surely Alexander would see if there was any type of resentment from the rest of the playing squad, why would anyone back a potential trouble maker.

And suppose he stays and has a bad second half of the season. Say he scores 3 more goals this seaaon; a poor return. We will still have a 23 year old with 15-20 goals in a season. He'd still attract interest and a dip in form could be excused by us being poor.

I'd hold and take the risk. There is huge upside if he carries on performing.
