Much as I enjoy your prophetic posts, yes it certainly looks like we are going to lose Young, but we require as fans some clear and honest explanation for all of this nonsense.

As i said earlier, player power has gone too far. We should be able to retain Jake Youngs player registration and not have to pay him, leave him sat at home , with no income and unable to play, keep his shite attitude away from the other players.
18 months down the line who would want him then, a contract is a contract, players can not have it all their own way.
I personally would also bring back a maximum wage, dependant on division, with much more based around performance and appearance.

 

I mentioned the lack of “ I’m buzzin to be back” quotes days ago. It’s all too obvious, he’s absolutely determined to go , which is his choice, I don’t have a problem with. However the charade has to stop. He may not have said anything either way to the club , so on that basis it’s impossible for the club to come “ clean” .

The club holds all the aces in one respect, and in another none? He may think he has us over a barrel. He may , but as said earlier , it depends if we have the balls as a club.?

Let him go cheaply if there are very few bidders, OR sit him with the kids on a low salary and zero playing bonuses for another 2 years and he can watch his career go down the toilet.

Having now read the article, in my opinion its just really badly worded. I'm pretty sure Young was there but the the article could be read that Young wasn't at the ground, which for a journalist is embarrassing.

 

I think he means on the pitch but i agree the way he's worded it makes it look like he wasn't at Valley Parade at all.
