MKD aren’t playing their Swindon starlet for a couple of weeks. He will enjoy training with the squad for two weeks then be available for selection.

Think about it though…both Young and Kemp have returned from clubs in training mode, so the smokescreen that MKD are using that he will train with the squad ( Not play! ) for two weeks before becoming available, maybe something else?
That could also be a smokescreen for “ We ain’t playing him straight away in case a bid comes in”

Let’s see what happens with JY although the jury is out as to his fitness? ( recent injury)

 

MKD also don't have a game at the weekend, presumably due FAC3, so don't really think there is any smoke screen here. Also not completely sure what this has to do with JY but it iszan open forum after all

 

To be fair, every football club in England knows Jake Young has scored plenty this season.

They will now know he's been recalled.

If they want him, they should get their bid in before Saturday.

It's not down to us to put him in the shop window and lower the price, it's up to any potential suitors to show some urgency and flash the cash.

 

He’ll start on sat then at least we know where we stand. Smith has done well and bagged double figures now but his last few performances have dipped slightly. Derbyshire got minutes at Crewe, so you’d expect Young to replace him in the squad.

 

They both came from the SAME club in FULL training and “ match fit” after half a season of playing, yet you don’t see the link? Crikey!

 

Would you prefer it if City left the option open for a few days if they are in negotiations with a cash buyer?

I would, especially if the rumours of bids already are indeed true.

What I am not getting is this fascination with what other clubs are or aren't doing. This is the Jake Young thread not the Dan Kemp or MKD thread. All we should be concerned about is JY and BCFC. And for the record I am in the "really pleased he has been recalled" corner

 

The position will be clearer when GA speaks at his press conference. Although I doubt he will tell them whether or not Jake Young will feature on Saturday.
