I mentioned him about 3 times, I wouldn't call that every opportunity. I think I have given Smallwood every opportunity to show us he's the class midfielder we hoped for and so far to me he's average in most games this season. The comparison of a well season pro to a up and coming youngster is just ridiculous. I just think we need better from our midfield in the second half of the season and another class midfielder brought in that area would help with a promotion push.

I can't see a problem with Young in this current team, if Walker is fit. Walker we'll create just as much space as Kemp and I feel he is more consistent over the 90 minutes, whilst not been as explosive.

Odour or Pointon are able deputies. Of course if he plays Osadebe, then nobody's getting many chance. LOL!!

Smallwood absolutely flattered to deceive under Hughes but I think recently, since Alexander changed the style he's been by and large, excellent.

His set pieces are still disappointing though and perhaps this is where a lot of the criticism stems from.
