Best to buy dried peas, soak them overnight then boil them for about 1// hour. Pepper and Butter. I like mint sauce. I absolutely love fish and chips and mushy peas but I can eat them without @Idlebantam@Idlebantam.

We digress off topic …steep over night with a bit of bicarbonate. They key is add a teaspoon of sugar for the 1 hour simmer. 10 mile drive to get boxes of Bachelors Bigga dried peas from Morrisons.

I like mushy peas on occasion. But mint sauce with fish & chips.:eek2:. Tomato Ketchup any day.

The fish has to be Haddock!

I think steep is a Yorkshire word for soak, but I could be wrong.

I think we should recall mushy peas from Swindon and swap Bobby Pointon for some haddock and chips.

Mushy peas talk apart, a few sensible transfer suggestions so far, but none of them seem very Bradford City things to do in a January transfer window. And by that I refer to Vaughan, Doyle, Canavan, Delfouneso, Guthrie etc etc

    So potential scenarios:
    1. Bring back Young to great fanfare, but then sell Cook to a promotion rival
    2. After 2 games Young stinks the place out, slags off Bradford in an interview, leaving only one option of a loan back to Swindon at a lower wage contribution
    3. Sell Lewis at 8pm on deadline day, and announce the loan signing of either Sutton or FGRs reserve keeper
    4. Sell Pointon to a team from a higher league who immediately loan him to one of our promotion rivals, and he appears in the L2 team of the season
    5. Sign at least 2 players not starting from teams below us in the league

Waiting for the inevitable flood of DMs 'post moved to the 'fast food thread', 'reason 'this is a thread for football transfers'. Always tickles when I get one in my DMs, like being told off by a teacher when you were at primary school lol.
