    To be fair, and l have been very critical of the playing surface in the past, it has been torrential rain. There is a lot of laying water generally. This part of the north has been particularly badly hit.

    It has been resolved. All postponements last year were frozen pitches. There are 50% of league two matches off and we are 3 hours from ko. Are all of those clubs the victims of poor pitch maintenance?

    Unless we spend millions on a state of the art hybrid pitch with undersoil heating what would be the point? This is the first postponement due to a waterlogged pitch for at least 3 or 4 years. The other postponements have either been snow outside the ground or frozen pitch after temperatures got to below -5.

    Because they have a 3G pitch, they have had quite a few games postponed in recent seasons due to the snow including last week.

    Don’t see Hudds ever getting postponements
    Our pitch has always been the same and investments had should prevent any game off for waterlogged

    My back lawn isn’t waterlogged at all.
    The problem cannot be resolved at VP because of the foundations.
    There will be no games postponed in the PL or Championship today

    Grimsby had a pitch inspection at 11, decided to do another one at 12 and they've now announced another pitch inspection at 1pm. I could only imagine the outrage if the same happened with our game.
